The Chief Exec Nicola Beach of Suffolk County Council emailed staff the week before Christmas 2018 explaining that the proposals will mean that “pay deductions would be taken each month”......

The number of responses to the most recent UNISON survey on the SCC pay cut was genuinely overwhelming. For this we thank you. But in addition to this, when you take a look at the results (attached), you will see that in terms of what you told us, it is very clear that we are undivided. A massive 95% of us will not accept 1 days mandatory unpaid leave.

UNISON's huge victory in getting the Suffolk County Council to drop its proposed pay cut made the news across Suffolk with articles appearing in the papers, as well as interviews with UNISON on BBC Radio Suffolk. This proves what a major success we have had.
